The popular massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Fantasy Westward Journey has put out a new viral ad that depicts the downfall of world’s wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Rather than falling to the hands of SEAL team 6, it was a certain Commander in Chief who personally went undercover to steal Bin Laden’s most powerful weapons. This video already surpassed 100k view in less than one day after being uploaded on Youku.
Fantasy Westward Journey is the most popular MMORPG in China developed by the online company NetEase, while the game is inspired by the classic novel Journey to the West. With over 250 million registered users and a peak number of 2.6 million players on the single day in 2010, Fantasy Westward Journey surpasses World of Warcraft in the number of registered users in China.
