China’s answer to ebay, ‘Taobao Mall‘ (or TMall), is the country’s largest online retailer. You may remember its advertising campaign from earlier this year. The idea behind the ad was to show that millions of people were going online to do their shopping resulting in ‘Empty Cities‘.

Alongside the ad, outdoor and print advertisements were placed around some of the major cities including Beijing and Shanghai.
