Perfetti Van Melle have recently released a new commercial for their brand, Mentos. The commercial, entitled “Forever”, was created for a Chinese audience by BBH China who also recently produced another commercial for another of Perfetti Van Melle’s brands, Alpenliebe.
All of the Mentos work in China is based on the broad “unconventional fun” territory, which is why in most of Mentos’ commercials you see unconventional ways for target groups to enjoy Mentos candy or gum.
The ad sees two friends begin a new, unconventional game using the iconic Mentos candy. They place a Mentos candy on their upper lip and challenge each other to see who can hold on to his Mentos forever.
